Our Doctor
Dr. Ronald Miller is Board Certified in Ophthalmology.
After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Urbana, Dr. Miller attended medical school at the University of Illinois' Peoria campus. He completed medical school by doing a Foreign Study Fellowship in Sydney, Australia. After medical school, Dr. Miller completed a Internal Medicine Internship in Houston, Texas. He then went to the University of Texas Medical School Branch at Galveston, Texas for a residency in Ophthalmology.
Locally, Dr. Ronald Miller has been in practice since 1980. He established the Mattoon Eye Center in 1988 to provide medical, surgical, laser, and optical services for Central Illinois. Dr. Miller has performed over 13,000 eye surgeries.
